History of the FORCE Foundation

FORCE was established on 18th February 1998 on an initiative by the Vrienden van het Braille- en Gesproken Boek (Friends of the Braille- and Spoken Book). Stiftung FORCE (FORCE Germany) was established on 7th September 2004.

Since its establishment, FORCE has been active in more 40 countries around the world. Its members of staff have prepared and run over 50 projects, have held 32 workshops and have participated in or made a contribution to 24 national and international conferences.
